K40 lightburn3/2/2024 ![]() Changed S-Value Max to 2800 but I couldn't complete a test burn because it increased the beam intensity so much even 350mm/sec at 12% went right through the 1.5mm plywood. What settings in Lightburn do I need to change to unlock the max speed listed in the Monport Owners Manual of 350mm/sec? I have set the Max X and Y rates in Machine Settings to 21000mm/min (which equates to 350mm/sec). (Also got a weird result when testing 100mm/sec at 8%, laser didn't fire the offset fill except to make an X. ![]() They took the exact same time to complete, and the depth of the engravings are identical. Then I did a 15mm offset fill square at 112 and 350mm/sec. The 112 and 350 are identical, front and back. The first pic shows test squares of 112, 350, 61 and 50mm/sec. ![]() Everything above 61mm/sec looks exactly the same. I did a material test 20 wide from 10% to 100% power, and 20 tall from 10 to 350mm/sec. It seems I am getting speeds no faster than around 65-70mm/sec. Sorry for all the pics, but they relay the issue. Been using it today trying to get it dialed-in and found one issue I don't understand. ![]()
